About Ma Peste Adorée

The name

Ma Peste Adorée is French for something like “my adored little rascal”. It is the name of a small jewellery studio in Carcassonne, in the south of France, where jewellery has been made by hand since 2010.

How we work

Every piece is made to order, one at a time. We work in stainless steel (plain or with an 18k gold plating) and 925 sterling silver, and we use natural gemstone beads. Each order goes out in a cotton pouch with a card listing the stones, and we offer gift wrapping.

The jewellery is made by Gaëlle. We started with bracelets and necklaces in natural stones, and the pregnancy necklace, or harmony ball, has become one of the pieces we make most. You can choose the stones, add an engraved medal and pick the chain.

Our UK customers buy from our Etsy shop, where you pay securely through Etsy and see delivery information for your order. Our French customers shop at mapesteadoree.fr. This website is where we explain the jewellery, and it doesn’t take orders itself.
